Biography
Dr. Anne Marie Kagwesage is an Associate Professor and Researcher at the University of Rwanda's College of Arts and Social Sciences, bringing over two decades of experience in academia and research. Her scholarly work centers on developing both hard and soft skills, with particular emphasis on English language proficiency, ICT integration, study skills, and research capacity building.
Through robust national and international partnerships, Dr. Kagwesage has successfully led and contributed to numerous research projects in roles ranging from Principal Investigator and Co-Investigator to Team Leader and team member. She has a strong track record of securing competitive funding, having co-authored winning proposals for both internally funded small-scale initiatives and large-scale externally funded projects supported by organizations including the Swedish International Development Agency (Sida), the International Development Research Centre (IDRC), the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO), and the Mastercard Foundation (MCF).
