Biography

I am an interdisciplinary Food Scientist (a well-rounded Agro-processing scientist) with
12 years’ experience in the field and I like to explore food science or Agro-processing of both animal food such as milk and meat as well as crop foods such as
horticulture as well as cereals and borrow allied knowledge from disciplines such as
economics and/or business, engineering, environment, and other life sciences to
explain phenomena/processes/projects in Food Science or Food systems. I am a lecturer and researcher with experience in teaching in higher educations ( possess a certificate) and supervising doctoral students ( possess a certificate as well) and am an Aspiring future Professor.
I am also an innovative and resourceful science projects manager and a good writer with
experience initiating, developing, and completing new projects as evidenced by 10
Co-authored publications in major peer-reviewed scientific journals and 7 extension
or IC materials and 2 strategic plans, leading teams up to 10 people, and contributed
in several grant funding. I am a results-oriented, internally motivated, information or data collection, analysis, and summarizing. In addition, I possess an excellent work ethic.

I am open to supervising Ph.D. students who are interested in studying the food systems ( or food value chains) in Rwanda and/or Africa. I am open to serving as an advisory member for organizations in the Food industry of Food systems, am also open to reviewing/ advising project proposals/consultancies/initiatives in the Food industry of Food systems in developing countries.
