NSEREKO Etienne

Biography

Etienne Nsereko is an Associate Professor at the University of Rwanda, based in Kigali. His academic focus encompasses maternal and child health nutrition, public health, and anesthesia.

Throughout his career, Professor Nsereko has contributed to various research projects. Notably, he co-authored a study on injury surveillance at a central hospital in Kigali, Rwanda. Additionally, he has investigated the prevalence and risk factors of intestinal parasites among children under two years of age in Rwanda.

In the AD Scientific Index 2025, Professor Nsereko is ranked among the top scientists in Rwanda within the field of medical and health sciences, specifically in epidemiology and public health. ​
