Biography
Dr. Charles
RUHIMBANA has PhD in Biotechnology and MSc in Microbiology. Dr. Charles joined
the University of Rwanda as an academic staff in February 2011. Since 2021, Dr.
Charles has served as the Postgraduate (PG) Coordinator in the School of Animal
Sciences and Biotechnology. Dr. Charles RUHIMBANA is a lecturer of Microbiology,
Food safety, One Health, Molecular Biology, and Biochemistry. His Research interest
is more on antimicrobial resistance, Zoonotic diseases, climate change,
Microbial enzymes, disease resistance genes and Gene editing technologies, and Reproductive
technologies in dairy cattle.
