Biography
Marie Christine is an Assistant
Lecturer at the University of Rwanda, College of Veterinary Medicine and Animal
Sciences (UR-CVAS), in the Department of Animal Production. She previously
served as Head of the Department of Animal Production for five years. She holds
an MSc in Plant and Animal Resources Management from the University of Liège,
Belgium, a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Production from the former National
University of Rwanda, and a Diploma in Leadership and Cycle Management from
Maastricht School of Management, the Netherlands. Her teaching areas include Principles
of Animal Production, Forage Production and Rangeland Management, Non-ruminant
Production (Poultry, Pig, and Rabbit), and Basic Animal Nutrition. Her research
interests focus on sustainable livestock production, gender, ICT, and rural
transformation. She has contributed to several national and international
research projects and has published in peer-reviewed journals.
