Biography
Hamim Abbas has over 17
years of experience in teaching, research, and supervision in animal nutrition
and feeding; feed formulation, production, and processing technology; forage
production and processing; poultry, rabbit, and pig production; and farm
management. His research interests focus on poultry, rabbit, and pig nutrition;
non-conventional feed resource utilization; feed production and processing
technologies; farm management; and forage production and conservation. He also has
expertise in diagnosing, treating, and preventing poultry and rabbit diseases;
developing livestock farming projects; designing integrated training programs;
and in farm structure and management technologies, as well as egg quality
analysis. Since 2022, he has been
conducting research on the use of forage silage as a nutrient source in poultry
farming. In addition to the activities mentioned above, he has been training
farmers in poultry, rabbit, and pig farming for over 15 years.
