Biography
Marie Anne Mukasafari (PhD holder/2025) is an
Assistant lecturer at the College of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Sciences,
University of Rwanda (UR). Her research interests include animal feeds and
feeding, farm management and food security/child stunting. She completed her
PhD study at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU)-Sweden.
Mukasafari joined the University of Rwanda in May 2013 and has a Master of
Science in Animal Nutrition from Egerton University, Kenya. During her bachelor’s
study, she conducted her research on Salmonera disease in poultry in Veterinary
Medicine from the University of Rwanda. She mainly teaches courses related to
animal feeds, feeding and applying technology in it. She also serves as a
Deputy Dean in School of Animal Sciences and Biotechnology.
