Biography

Dr. Jean Leonard Buhigiro is an Associate Professor lecturer in History Education at the University of Rwanda - College of Education (UR-CE). He teaches various modules, including Introduction to History, History Teaching Methods, History of Rwanda, History of International Relations, Medieval History, and Modern Times. Over the years, he has served as Head of Department, Deputy Dean, and School of Education Postgraduate Studies Coordinator. Dr. Buhigiro has also contributed to the writing of the general history of Rwanda (NUR-NCUR) and acted as a quality assurer for secondary school history textbooks.
